Hi, I am Manuela

a Strategic and Service Designer

with one foot in Barcelona and the

head in the rest of the world.

Who I am

I am a multi-disciplined, entrepreneurial-minded designer, consultant, trainer and facilitator with a background in Design for Innovation (ELISAVA), Digital Management (HYPER ISLAND) and Business Administration. 

My career has taken me all over the world in different positions and contexts. Currently, I help clients in Europe and South America by designing and supporting effective services and change-manage processes as co-founder of WE PUSH, a Service Design consultancy.
I am also a collaborator at PARTNOS, an Agile consultancy that helps companies and institutions to improve their operations, develop reliable products and services and assist them in organizational transformation.
Additionally, I am the Managing Director of the Management & Design Strategies School at IED Barcelona - Escola Superior de Disseny, where I lead the department dedicated to the creation and management of the courses focused on using design as a strategic tool.

Although I am active in a broad variety of contexts and roles, my work has a number of unifying principles:

• I believe in using a practical approach, derived from my collaborations with clients

• I enhance this approach with an academic perspective, emerging from my work as an academic professional

• I constantly research and experiment with different methodologies and tools.

These principles result in a skillset which is constantly evolving and improving as I integrate new knowledge from both the business and academic worlds, combining them to create a rigorous and highly applicable approach.
